GIRARD'S WATCH REBRAND CASE STUDY

This project was created as part of my Defunct Rebrands series where I create rebrand material for places that have closed nearby me in the Metro Detroit area. Girard's Watch Pictures was a picture and framing store in Dearborn Heights, Michigan that specialized in handcrafted pictures made out of wristwatch parts by the late Girard Sensoli.
LITTLE ANGELS REBRAND CASE STUDY

This project was created as part of my Defunct Rebrands series where I create rebrand material for places that have closed nearby me in the Metro Detroit area. Little Angels Nursery and Kindergarten was Detroit's first academic preschool in Highland Park, Michigan owned and operated by the late Cassie Workings who believed that every child has the ability to succeed. The center operated from 1970 to 2010.
ONEKIND SOAP BRANDING

My Senior Seminar professor asked me to expand on my soap packaging by including other fragrances and different colors/patterns. I enjoyed playing around with new color schemes and even creating new illustrations associated with different scents, for an example a beach theme for the Tropical Breeze scent.

I was inspired by the selection of children's novels at Target. A diverse range of teenaged girls are represented throughout. Tints and shades of blue are used to create an appealing consistency to the eye.

A magazine about a girl-based robotics team called "The Nerdettes". I used a variety of pinks and silvers throughout the spread while giving it a technology feel with gears, tablet, and the altered pink circuit background.

DETROIT ZOO APP REBRAND

An app that showcases all of Detroit Zoo's amenities, in a fun and rustic way. I used a color scheme of orange, yellow, green, and blue.

FOOD TRUCK BRANDING GUIDELINES
2023 - ADOBE INDESIGN, ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR, & ADOBE PHOTOSHOP
I opted for something that isn't common, that being Nitrogen based desserts, mainly nitrogen ice cream and dragon puffs. The mascot is an anthropomorphic erlenmeyer flask holding a beaker of dragon puffs and nitrogen ice cream in a lightning bolt shaped cone. The mascot, Curie, is loosely based on a milkshake, another menu item of the food truck. There are pop-art, comic book, kawaii, and futuristic design aesthetics as part of the food truck's theme and branding guidelines.

2023 - ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR
We had to choose from a list of fragrances, so I decided upon Lavender Sunflower. I used this opportunity to include my favorite complimentary colors, yellow and purple, with different kinds of shades and tints. A boho aesthetic is the prominent design choice, embracing hand drawn and calming elements. Plants, flowers, dots, and striped patterns help the design stand out and appeal to younger viewers.
This project was created as part of an assignment at Henry Ford College and was featured in the Sisson Gallery's 2024 Annual Student Exhibition.

We had to choose an organization to create a poster for. I decided to make a pamphlet for the Raise A Child foster care agency based in Los Angeles, California. I modeled this after a fridge with children's drawings on it, an iconic relic in many family households. Photos and drawings of different kinds of families are plastered throughout, something that the organization is aimed towards. Information about foster care and the RAC agency is also provided.

We had to choose an organization to create a poster for. I decided to make a poster for the Raise A Child foster care agency based in Los Angeles, California. I modeled this after a fridge with a child's drawing on it, an iconic relic in many family households. There is also a spelling test with words that are associated with the agency, a Magic Johnson quote, and a business card of the agency.

PBS KIDS WEBSITE
2019 - ADOBE PHOTOSHOP
I was assigned to create a new website for PBS Kids, so I decided to make the website if PTV Park (1993-1999) branding still existed. The mascots featured in the website are the P-Pals who helped the brand stand out. There are also iconic elements from the P-Pals that are seen on this webpage, i.e. Penny likes to plant flowers, Pierre finds joy in painting, Paganini plays his violin, Peggy enjoys driving her car, and Perry is always seen with his parachute. The design is intentionally meant to be freehand and mimic traditional animation.

JAZZ ALBUM COVER
2018 - ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR
An experimental typographic album cover inspired by 1950s Jazz album covers. I settled on a flat design with a simple color scheme. I wanted to give the album cover a nostalgic feel by using experimental typography to create the dancer's body. Her name "Ida Valley" is inspired by the Monument Valley game series.
This project was created as part of an assignment for a College Bound class at The Art Institute of Michigan and was featured as part of our class exhibition.
